Review: Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock SPF36 (180ml)

Summer is almost upon us, and there's no denying that the climate is getting hotter these days.

I bet you're ready for summer fun, but do you have what it takes to go out and expose your skin to the scorching summer heat?

I hope you do.

If you're still searching on which sunblock to use for summers, read on. This might be a good product for you.

Today, I'll be reviewing the Classic Beach Hut Clear Sunblock Spray, which I unboxed from the BDJBox September 2014 - Beauty Innovations

The Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock in SPF36, claims to be a new type of sunblock - non-greasy, non-sticky, not messy, and it's spray type!

oops.. I lost the cap.

Pros:

  • UV A and UV B Protection
  • Sweatproof
  • Waterproof
  • Gentle on skin
  • Not messy
  • Light on skin
  • Clear
  • Moisturizing
  • Available locally
  • No residue on skin
  • Easy application: just spray!

Cons:

  • Scent is a turnoff
There are lots of sunblocks out there that leave residue and grease; it's disgusting, I know!

However, I'm glad that The Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock, which is sweatproof, waterproof and not messy when applied, doesn't leave out white residue and grease on the skin! I've tried this for the past months, and I'm glad it delivered what it promised. Also, I'm thankful that it doesn't let dirt and dust stick on the skin.

It's also pretty interesting that the Beach Hut came up with a sprayable formula. It's a very convenient feature, indeed!

What I dislike about this sunblock, though, is the scent. It smells almost like a combination of plastic and other chemicals. Sad to say, the scent lingers for a while, too!

Nonetheless, this sunblock is a handy companion - whether you're out swimming in the beach, or just simply taking out a leisurely stroll.

If scent is not an issue with you, this could be great for your summer getaways!

Repurchase?

I like how this product works. However, to be honest, I can't repurchase this because of the scent. I'm simply not one of those who could tolerate strong scents. Nonetheless, it's a good product. If they'd make this smell more pleasant, I might give it a try again.

How about you? Have you tried the Beach Hut Clear Spray Sunblock before? How did it go for you?

Love,

Marie
