I don't quite like the first two months of the year, because I only get a single BDJBox for both. :(

However, the Jan-Feb BDJBox for this year is just waaaayyy beyond how I expected it to be.

Look!

Another sneak peek! The bottom photo shows a beauty booklet from Mandom Corp.

And finally, here's the breakdown!

Enjoy!

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion, 300ml - Php 419

This breakthrough makeup remover gently removes makeup and effectively cleanses skin. This is Japan's first ever water-based makeup remover that absorbs impurities, leaving skin feeling fresh and moisturized without the oily feeling.
A few days ago, I seriously contemplated on buying a Bifesta for myself. I knew I had to do something for my skin; because out of laziness, I sometimes end up sleeping with my makeup on!

I know it's a mortal skincare sin, but what else could I do? Cleanse with water even though my eyes are tired? Seriously, my mom would probably give a tedious lecture on how to take good care of my eyes.

Of course, I simply cannot neglect my skincare needs, and good thing Bifesta Cleansing Lotions offer a unique way to solve my dilemma. The Bifesta Cleansing Lotion offers to remove makeup and cleanse the skin even without water!

Just so you know, I'm glad I didn't buy a Bifesta while I was at Watsons the other day. It's as if I sensed that a Bifesta Cleansing Lotion would soon be delivered to my doorstep! Thank you BDJ!!!

Lucido-L styling Milk, 70ml (Php 295)

This day time hair supplement style and treats your hair at the same time! Powered by Hyaluronic Acid, it coats hair strands for soft and tangle-free hair, with a long-lasting sweet and fruity-floral scent. It comes in 4 variants to suit whatever style you like.
This baby looks like a good leave-on treatment. I haven't tried this one yet, but I suppose it would help my locks to stay in place. It claims to last for about 140 uses. How good is that?! And, for the record, I'm one happy Bella.

Lucido-L Treatment Oil Perm, 50ml (Php 295)

A perfect fit for permed and colored hair, this overnight treatment will repair and maintain your soft and bouncy curls that you've  always wanted! It can also serve as heat protection serum whenever  you are styling your tresses.
Here's another Lucido-L product, which is for overnight use. It claims to repair permed hair. I don't have permed hair, so despite my hesitance to let somebody else own it, I might just give it away. :(

This product claims to last for about 60 applications.

Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence, 30ml (Php 495)

This water-based Japanese sunscreen gel feels water light and delivers superior UVA protection and can double as your makeup base. It applies like water and is sebum proof, leaving skin feeling fresh, clean, and smooth.

I love sunblocks, and I'll love them even more if they're gels! This one is just about perfect!

This baby is for the face and the body. Interestingly, it could also be a good makeup base.

I have a feeling that this could be my next best friend.

Pixy Coverlast, 10g (Php 325)

This long-lasting powder foundation from Pixy has Microsphere Powder that covers blemishes for a smooth, even and natural makeup look. It also controls oil and shine to keep you looking  fresh throughout the day.
You know, I love anything Pixy, and this powder might just be a good product for me. I haven't swatched it just yet, so I hope it would match my skintone. Otherwise, I might just give this away as well.

It's interesting how they packaged this compact. The pressed powder is situated right below the mirror, while the puff is snugly kept at the bottom. I don't really know if it's pure genius or simply another form of inconvenience, but as of now, I love everything about this Pixy Compact Powder.

Pixy Eye Shadow, 2.8g (Php 315)

Its Micro-pearl formula creates a soft texture that makes  it easy to apply and blend on your lids. Its two-color combination makes it easy to use. Combine it with other shades to create  more eye makeup looks!
Finally! A Pixy eyeshadow.

The duo I received is called Sparkling Gold. Honestly, I'm not sure if I like the colors. I mean, the combination is a little off, don't you think? But, I'm thinking of using this soon.

I had swatched this a while ago, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. It's not overly pigmented. It's pretty decent, color-wise. Personally, I think it's quite powdery but it shouldn't be a problem.  It's not chalky anyway.

I got some other Pixy goodies as well, but they were repeat products. I'm in love with Pixy, so repeats are not an issue at all!

Pixy Blush On, 3.5g (Passion Roses 04)

This pretty blush will help you pull off that natural, cute flush on your cheeks, giving you a sweet and innocent glow whenever you smile. It also comes with a handy brush and built-in mirror for easy touch-ups!

I reviewed this blush here.

Pixy Two Way Cake Fit, 12.2g

This powder formula blends perfectly for a smooth and long lasting base. Use it wet for more coverage, or dry for a natural look. It contains two way whitening squalane oil to prevent dry skin, and SPF15 to protect your skin from sun damage.
Overall

Overall, BDJ totally nailed it! I love everything that came with this box.

And value for money? It's totally worth it. I'm a very happy Bella. In fact, it really feels like I bought two boxes already.

As for Mandom:

I love your products and I'm definitely keeping an eye on your brands for more! I have tried and tested a lot of Mandom stuff, and I'm in for more!

Overall, it's a great box.

Thank you so much, BDJ and Mandom!

Unboxing Post: BDJBox January & February 2015 - Kawaii Must-Haves

Friday, November 28, 2014

If you could only use one K-Beauty product for the rest of your life, what would it be? That's the question we asked all ladies in Seoul City! We hunted down the beautiful ladies of Seoul to see which beauty products they can't live without to curate this special box, bursting with only the most buzzed about beauty innovations that's all the rave among hot Seoulites! When it comes to K-Beauty, these ladies are the experts. Come on, have you ever come across a Korean woman who doesn't have the most put-together makeup, and hauntingly flawless skin? We sure haven't.
When this box first came up in Memebox website, I wasn't too interested in it. The description made it sound like it's full of makeup products, and I am not a makeup person. Not really.

But, I bought it anyway, primarily because it's bundled with the Memebox Superbox #76 - While You Were Sleeping, by which I had really high hopes with.

However, this box turned out to be a pleasant surprise when I unboxed it last week.

Take good look at all that!

Now, I know you couldn't share my enthusiasm just yet.

So, here's the breakdown:

I have arranged the products based on my preferences.

originalraw Multi - Pigment - I am Designer 10g x 3ea $42

Kiss goodbye to bulky makeup bags, because you'll be able to do everything from eye, lip, and cheek makeup with these Multi-Pigments. Create a beautiful flush, a pretty pout, or glamorous eyes with this highly blendable and pigmented three-in-one formula. The creamy, streak-free stain is enriched with amethyst, sunflower seed oil, pearl powder and ruby powder.
One look and you know that this is definitely NOT a skincare product. But, it goes in the top list mainly because it's one-of-a-kind. Three tubes contain three different pigments: one beige, one orange, and one pink - all of which you could mix and match to create makeup for the eyes, the lips, the cheeks, etc. That's basically an all-in-one product! And sounds like a convenient product to use, too!

I haven't used it just yet, but I think this would turn out to be an awesome product.

Did I mention that this was the spoiler for this box, too?

Migabee Verbena Cream 50ml $29

Both a deeply nourishing night cream and a daily moisturizer, Migabee Verbena Cream promises supple, silky smooth complexion. It's formulated with a blend of shea butter, peptide complex and natural moisturizing factors, thus improve skin elasticity and strengthens skin's innate ability to maintain moisture and protect itself from the external environment.
Top spot #2 is for Migabee Verbena Cream, which is basically a moisturizer.

Migabee is a Korean brand that I'm not familiar with, but I'm willing to give this product a try. Judging by the looks of it, I think Migabee might be middle-end Korean brand.

Migabee Pure Berry Oil Soap Honey 310ml $29

An all-in-one multi-cleanser for hair, body, and facial use. Pure Berry Oil Soap contains saponin complex for creating soft, creamy bubbles which soothe and hydrate sensitive skin while deep cleansing. The Honey blend is made with bee venom, honey, propolis, and acai extracts and works to strengthen skin firmness and balance out uneven skin texture and tone.
Another Migabee product, and an all-in-one product at that! And, this bottle is huge!

The product description says that this could be used as a multi-cleanser for the hair and body. That's a great idea. I'm thinking of refilling my travel containers with this!

Mizon Oh! Shy Gorgeous On Liquid Cheek 8ml $16

This light-reflecting multi-functional blush and lip liquid glides on to refresh and enhance the complexion, creating a glowing radiance. Wear it alone, or mix it with your favorite foundation, BB cream, or CC cream to transform your skin from ordinary to extraordinary. Plus, the peachy coral shade is universally flattering for all skin tones. There's no way it can go wrong.
I have far too many lip products in my vanity drawer(s) right now. Sadly, a cheek/lip tint is not something that I'm interested in. I have far too many lippies to empty, which is why I gave this to my younger sister. It's not that I don't want it at all.

However, I do admit that I felt a bit of regret when my sister used this on her lips and cheeks. It looks gorgeous when worn! Nonetheless, I'm sure I could get over this soon. My sister's really happy anyway.

Shara Shara Dew Veil Primer Balm 25g $13

With a formula based on avocado oil - rich in vitamin, iron, and niacin - this hydrating primer neutralizes the skin tone, soothe dry patches, and creates a smooth, uniform canvas for flawless makeup application. Dew Veil Primer Balm helps create a dewy, supple complexion and keep makeup looking fresh as well.
The last product is from Shara Shara, and it's a primer. It's supposed to hydrate, too.

This came in last because I barely use primers at all. I like Shara Shara, but I would have preferred their skin care line over their makeup. I tried Shara Shara skincare products, and I could attest that quite lot of them are great. For me, their makeup line is not so special at all. Their makeup products were just okay.

Overall

I received four Memeboxes for the month of November alone. Among these four boxes, I find this box to be the best and the most exciting. I'm a happy Memeboxer.

That's all for today! I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

Love lots,

Newbee Marie
